Atiawa Toa FM is looking for a talented breakfast personality to lead its breakfast show that not only fits Atiawa Toa FM’s values but also delivers “Local” in a 2018 context. That means sense of the day every break, vox pops, feature pieces, interviews on air every day.

Atiawa Toa FM is serious about being the number one radio station of choice amongst its niche target audience, therefore motivation to deliver a high standard of entertaining and exciting breakfast radio is essential. You will be good at understanding and following processes, delivering updates, attending meetings and committed to following the Programme Director.

The attributes that will set you apart from the rest are:

  • An advocate for the use of Te Reo Māori

  • Your ability to prepare and present an entertaining, fun and local show that connects with our 18 – 54 year old audience

  • Being a passionate Social media Queen/King

  • Possesses a mature outlook and work ethic

  • Qualifications and/or experience is ideal

  • Current drivers Licence

  • An energetic personality and enthusiastic approach to work

  • Great personality and sense of humour

  • Desire and drive to create engaging content

  • Sound computer skills

  • Must be a self-starter, work autonomously and work well in a team environment
